Mae Bell Lindgren, 78, lifelong resident of Fred, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019. She was retired from Fred Elementary of Warren ISD. Mae Bell enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She also like to fish and was a great fishing partner. She always enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Fannie McGallion; brothers, Earl Knighten, and Ernest “Poodle” McGallion; sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Sanford McGallion; niece, Diane McGallion Chance; nephews, Rickey McGallion, and Gilmer Knighten.
Mae Bell is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Wilgert “Buddy” Lindgren of Fred, children, Debra Lindgren Davis of Hamshire, Ronald Lynn Lindgren and wife, Darla of Timpson, and Connie Lindgren Reed and husband, Jeff of Lubbock; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Christopher Davis and Lacy, Christin Mitchell and husband, Matthew, Bethany Lindgren, Ashlynn Lindgren, Adam Lindgren, Hailey Reed, and Jake Reed; great-granddaughter, Chloe Davis; niece, Sharon Knighten; nephews, Jerry McGallion, Jason Knighten, and Alex Knighten; and numerous cousins and other family members.
Her family will receive friends at Farmer Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Farmer Funeral Home, with Reverend Vance Cawley and Pastor Elmer Eddings officiating. Interment will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry McGallion, Lucas McGallion, William McGallion, Jake Reed, Christopher Davis, and Bobby Davis.
